Overview

Digital fiber optic sensors are a type of fiber-optic sensor that measure physical quantities such as strain, temperature, pressure, vibration, or displacement by modulating light traveling through an optical fiber and converting these changes into digital signals for processing . Unlike traditional analog sensors, digital fiber optic sensors provide high accuracy, immunity to electromagnetic interference, and the ability to transmit data over long distances without signal degradation .

How They Work
